About Me
My professional journey has been shaped by a commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities, contributing to meaningful community initiatives, and continuing to develop as a practitioner and researcher.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Arkansas–Fort Smith in 2021. My undergraduate experiences introduced me to advocacy, community service, and work supporting individuals and families.
I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Applied Behavioral Analysis at Ouachita Baptist University, with an anticipated graduation date of May 2027.
My professional experience includes direct care, supportive living services, case management, staff supervision, behavioral services, staff training, and community-based project implementation. These experiences have given me opportunities to work with individuals across a variety of ages, abilities, and support needs.
In addition to my clinical and professional experiences, I have participated in research through the UAMS Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program. During my fellowship, I completed 300 hours of research, study, and service focused on individuals with disabilities and their families.
I approach professional development as an ongoing process. I value opportunities to learn, collaborate, conduct meaningful research, and apply evidence-based practices in ways that support individuals, families, and communities.

Research
Presented Research
Knowledge of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder: Presented to College-Age Women
Submitted to the 2024 UAMS LEND Symposium
-
I developed 2 nine-question surveys designed to examine changes in knowledge among college-age women following an educational presentation on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.
-
The 45-minute presentation was delivered to 14 college-age women at the University of Arkansas–Fort Smith. Responses from the surveys were compared to examine changes in participants' knowledge following the presentation.
PROPOSED Research
Graduate Applied Research Project in progress:
Pending defense
-
I will be designing a single-case applied research study evaluating the impact of hands-on Behavioral Skills Training (BST) on Registered Behavior Technicians' (RBTs) presession pairing skills.
-
Presession pairing is an evidence based concept that "pairing" a technician with a client's highly preferred items or activities, leads to higher instructional motivation and decrease in challenging behaviors
